Attention: Trufla Technology Lawsuit Update
As promised, I'm sharing the latest developments.
I have filed an affidavit and cross-application in response to Trufla's summary dismissal motion. These are now public court documents:
My affidavit: https://www.mediamatterslawsuits.com/_files/ugd/13ae75_8f32e9b7b74a487a97fa954e9af98ae0.pdf
Cross-application for production of the Lockton Agreement: https://www.mediamatterslawsuits.com/_files/ugd/13ae75_e08ac9a7feb44a07bfc54deed5c88b95.pdf
It is very concerning that after 7 years Trufla appears to have withheld important evidence regarding its use of ClickHook's IP and agreements to generate revenue from it without proof of ownership. This lawsuit could have ended much sooner if Trufla had simply shown proof they owned the IP (which obviously they don't).
My affidavit makes clear that Dave Vass Consulting has always held the exclusive rights to ClickHook, and no agreement ever transferred those rights to any other party.
It wasn't until after I revoked all rights to use ClickHook upon my resignation that Trufla decided to rebuild the platform. In my opinion, it is unethical to generate millions from someone else's IP without payment, then use that revenue to rebuild a new platform and claim no further value in ClickHook.
I'm confident the court will see through this conduct. Again, all Trufla has to do is the right thing. Both Sherif Gemayel and Bruce Rabik promised that if ClickHook proved valuable, they would pay me for it. They cannot hide forever behind lawyers and deep pockets. The public is now seeing what is going on.
